On March 4, 2025, PT. Ekosistim Bumi Lestari convened its General Meeting of Shareholders in Sorong City, Southwest Papua, uniting partner cooperatives from Maluku and Tanah Papua (affiliated with the EcoNusa Foundation). As shareholders of PT. KOBUMI, these cooperatives and EcoNusa Foundation discussed sustainable resource management rooted in local wisdom and community-led economic growth, emphasizing business development, sustainability strategies, and the empowerment of Indigenous communities through robust economic ecosystems. This GMS underscored a commitment to transparent, inclusive, and sustainable business practices and strengthened collaborative ties across Papua and Maluku.
