Oval Nutmeg
Papua nutmeg grows naturally in customary forest lands, thriving alongside native trees without the need for land clearing. Its oval-shaped fruit and distinctive aroma make it a highly valued premium spice known for its versatility. In Fakfak, where nearly 80% of the land is covered with nutmeg trees, this remarkable spice not only sustains the livelihoods of local communities but also helps protect and preserve the rich forests of Papua.
